Skyryse Announces Dr. Mark Groden as an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2023 Greater Los Angeles Award Finalist

Entrepreneur Of The Year celebrates ambitious entrepreneurs who are building bolder futures

LOS ANGELES, April 25, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Skyryse CEO Dr. Mark Groden was named an Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2023 Greater Los Angeles Award finalist. Now in its 37th year, Entrepreneur Of The Year is one of the preeminent competitive business awards for transformative entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies building a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous world for all.

Dr. Groden was selected by an independent panel of judges. Entrepreneurs were evaluated based on their demonstration of building long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth, and impact, among other core contributions and attributes.

Skyryse has developed a highly-automated flight control system available for any aircraft bringing commercial-level safety to general aviation piloted aircraft through a fly-by-wire system and triply-redundant architecture. With simple and intuitive touch-screen flight controls, we've removed the complexity of learning to fly and made it safe and easy for anyone to become a pilot.

"It's an honor to be recognized by Ernst & Young for what always felt like more of a moral imperative, making general aviation safer, easier, and more accessible to everyone," said Dr. Groden. "For more than a decade, I've had the privilege of working alongside the best aerospace team in history, and we look forward to revolutionizing transportation and making it more equitable, accessible, and safer than at any time in aviation history."

Regional award winners will be announced on June 22, 2023, during a special celebration. The winners will then be considered by the National judges for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards, which will be presented in November at the annual Strategic Growth Forum®, one of the nation's most prestigious gatherings of high-growth, market-leading companies. The Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner will then move on to compete for the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Award in June 2024.
